MEDICAL METAL FABRICATION

Medical metal parts are judged on cleanliness and precision. A burr on an instrument tray or a rough edge on a housing is a rejection. We laser-cut 316L stainless and titanium with tight tolerances, then deburr, passivate, and finish to surfaces that clean down and resist corrosion through repeated autoclave cycles.

We fabricate instrument trays and cases, equipment enclosures and chassis, mounting brackets, and structural hardware. For implant-adjacent and load-bearing parts we work in titanium Grade 2 and Grade 5; note that finished implants require the device maker’s own validated, regulated process.

MATERIALS WE USE

316L stainless (autoclave-stable, corrosion-resistant) and titanium Grade 2 / Grade 5 for lightweight, biocompatible structural parts. Fine sheet 0.5–6 mm typical, held to tight tolerance. See all metals and thicknesses we laser cut.

Precision fiber laser cutting · full deburr and edge-break · passivation per ASTM A967 for stainless · bright/electropolish finish · argon-shielded TIG for titanium to prevent embrittlement.

MEDICAL — COMMON QUESTIONS

Do you work with titanium?

Yes — titanium Grade 2 and Grade 5, cut and formed, with argon-shielded TIG welding to avoid embrittlement. Ideal for lightweight, biocompatible structural parts.

Are parts passivated and deburred?

Yes — full deburr and edge-break on every part, plus passivation per ASTM A967 for stainless, and bright or electropolish finishes for clean, autoclave-ready surfaces.

Can you make finished implants?

We fabricate implant-adjacent and structural components. Finished implants require the device manufacturer’s own validated, regulated production and certification — we support you as a component supplier within that.

Do you provide material traceability?

Yes — mill test certificates and material traceability on stainless and titanium, to support your quality and regulatory documentation.
